Artistnama was conceptualized during our travels across India, meeting Local Home-Grown Women Artists. These artists are gifted with talent and skills to make unique products with exquisite designs in style that are personal and as per our choice.
We found that each artist had almost similar challenges or difficulties, like being hired as labourers and not as artists, no recognition, price negotiations, selling difficulty, logistics challenge, lack of capital, limited knowledge constraints using mobile, computers, photography of products, social media and so on.
And so, Artistnama was born! Through Artistnama, we want to help Our Local Home-Grown Women Artists to market and distribute their Handcrafted Products by creating their own virtual store through a dedicated e-commerce platform, which features not just products of their Art, but also the Artists, where both get recognition. We provide them the right support, education and training which we hope will ultimately help them overcome the challenges or difficulties they are facing today. Artistnama brings together, Women Artists of all ages from different cities of India and helps them expand their market reach.
With this understanding, we at ‘Artistnama’, bring to you the products that are Handcrafted and Not Manufactured. This platform provides a unique experience to the Customers too, as they can choose a product of their liking, customize it to their needs and in the process also get a chance to know the artist and the positive footprint they are leaving when they help promote such artists.
